We started off with this habit of taking picture of the food we ate. This is mainly how our Blog name came about. Instead of keeping these wonderful pictures to ourselves, we created this blog and would like to share all kinds of awesome and interesting food that we tried all across this little island of ours. We will give our most honest feedback from both our taste bugs and rate them accordingly. Hopefully we can bring you guys to some new places that you never been to. Lets experience every single delightful cruise with together !!! Feel free to post comments below !
The translated Chinese name of this dish is 笋粿. This is a steamed Chinese dumpling made of rice flour skin with chopped turnips strips as filling. It can be eaten steamed or fried, with sweet dark soya sauce and chilli paste. But we still prefer the original taste of it without the sweet sauce. As mentioned in our previous entry, here's a snapshot of the Best soon kueh we ever tried!
