Mussels $19

The restaurant that we never get sick of coz the food here is simply worth it !!! We had mussels a total of 14 mussels + garlic herb soup + garlic bread. The soup is super tasty, something which our taste buds never felt before :x. The mussels are fresh but is strongly recommended that a group of 3 to share this will be perfect ! Next, the combo meal was delightful especially the ribs. Ribs are grilled which we could taste the fragrance of herbs and tenderness of the meat after our first bite! The BBQ sauce is like 2 times better than the MACs ones but we preferred to have it with Tabasco sauce too. The baked potato is served with the sour cream(MORE) + bacon + green onion ! FULL ! We will be back to try the other food on the menu. :)

This is not a newly spotted place with nice food, I believe.

We had our early dinner at Beach Road Food Centre and feel that I should put it in our blog, so that we know what are the good food that we’ve tried.

In Beach Road Prawn Noodles House, they give me 2 half big prawns , 3 small pork ribs and 3 slices of egg. Pretty reasonable for a small bowl of prawn noodles selling at $3.

The soup is tasty but little too sweet! But nevertheless, it still satisfy my tummy! :)

One of the hidden 24hrs hawker centre ! If u guys are not sure wheres Blk 802, it is somewhere in near Opp between Tampines Safra/TP. The Hokkien mee is average only, better with more spicy chill !:D The omelette is a dish worth eating thou it costs $5 ! The chill makes it tastess soo good, oysters are fresh as well ! There are more exciting dishes here too like the fish n chips n stingray ! STAY TUNE !

This weekend, we hit the beach road hawker centre ( Famous Army market). We tried their famous hainanese beef noodles @ level 2. The sauce is thick and tasty, beef is tender n soft and soup is equally sweet with Beef aroma LOL. One of the best beef noodles we tasted ! It is a good makan place and you could recall your army days shopping here :))). NOOOooooo !!

We decided to celebrate our friend birthday at Nando today ! We queued for around 1.5hrs !!! Basically is served only great chicken meal only WITHOUT ice water! Can u recall a restaurant dont serve ice water! :( Drinks were around $4 at least ! we rather had (L) mos burger ice milk tea instead ! The food is good but rather salty for our liking. The quality of service is v poor and waiting time was like 1/2hr ! Our orders were wrong, chicken size were inappropriate(imagine we waited 2hrs). I definitely not recommend this place as it not worth the queuing time ! :)

I wanna introduce this awesome traditional Chinese snack to you guys! For those who don’t know, this is a typical Chinese snack. It is often eaten during breakfast or as a tea time snack. As for me, I would have it for breakfast and it last me till dinner time!! Amazing isn’t it? Haha.

We ended at maxwell again ! We had the fish porridge n raw fish from Zhen Zhen. I NEVER Tasted such grain-less porridge before! IT was super delicious ! The portion looks more like a $3.50 bowl to me ! The raw fish had the salmon feel of freshness, blended with sesame, chopping onion, ginger and red chills ! something new and appetizing to our stomach before the main course ! :P
The pancakes come in 3 different flavours ( green tea , peanut and red bean) ! It is definitely selling fast ! So grab them fast especially the green tea ones :P !

Fruit Paradise has been around for quite some time.
The pies at Fruit Paradise always catches my eye,
but this is my first time trying it out with my colleagues.

Chestnut Mont Blanc Strawberry Pie.

This has a custard base, the pie crust was not too sweet as what i expected it to be.
*Thumbsup* for that. But I still preferred the cream cheese base over this.

This definitely a place to visit and relax after a hectic day at work.

Sim Lim Food Court

For only $4, you get a bowl of delicious healthy mushroom
la mian (拉面) with generous chunks of mushrooms & cabbage.

We had that a week ago @ sim lim food court.. they do have lotsa nice food.

The noodles feels abit "chewy", but after awhile it taste not bad with the sause.
Things that i want to compliment are the sause and the chunks of mushroom and cabbage..

=X don't ask me for their stall name. Cos, they do not have a signboard!
hmmm let's call it the " NO SIGNBOARD " stall.

Dou Dou set $4

I am a huge fan of dry Yong Tau Foo. Actually I think most girls are.

It's healthy, anyway! My definition of Yong Tau Foo is simply, tofu or vegetables..
But this meal I had at longhouse was incredibly UPS!

They call it as "dou dou" set.(translated as: "bean bean" set) LOL.
For my preference, I like it with lotsa beans and vege, and well this set meal is more than just a word "satisfied"!

The noodles are placed in a bowl and served with some minced pork on top,
The plate of vege is really nice, it comes with a savoury of beancurd paste if I'm not wrong..
that gave a little salty taste to it..
Last but not least, is the plate on the right, has all the protein you need for the day..
served up with mushroom, yellow beans, stew tofu with stuffed meat and a slice of fish cake with fried bean curd skin.
Very satisfying! Its a must-try for those who needs a great source of PROTEIN!
COME ON! time for PROTEIN loading liao! haha.

Prawn noodles $4

The soup is thick and tasty. The prawn is real fresh perhaps I should get a $5 instead. LOL . I have been their fan since secondary school. It is definitely a dish to have if you love prawn. The best thing is that you need not dirty your hand. NO PEELING INVOLVED ! =D

ROCHOR ORIGINAL BEANCURD for dinner?

That's the Stall!:)

This is the Rochor Beancurd stall, as you can see. It’s a popular place where many Singaporeans knew and will consider going for supper.

egg tart($1.30),
butterfly cake($0.90),
you tiao($0.90),
grass jelly($1.00)
&
beancurd ($0.60 for dining in, $1.00 for takeaway).

The tau huay is really smooth and silky, simply melts inside the mouth instantly! I'll always ask for less or even without syrup while BF likes it with lots of syrup in it. HAHA.
Overall, this tau huay is satisfying!

We even ordered the sides, like egg tart, butterfly cake and you tiao along with it. It is served hot and is crispy on the outside!Some of you would prefer dipping the you tiao into the soya bean drink.

This definitely a place to chill at. And a very affordable place for some desserts in the Rochor area.
