We started off with this habit of taking picture of the food we ate. This is mainly how our Blog name came about. Instead of keeping these wonderful pictures to ourselves, we created this blog and would like to share all kinds of awesome and interesting food that we tried all across this little island of ours. We will give our most honest feedback from both our taste bugs and rate them accordingly. Hopefully we can bring you guys to some new places that you never been to. This is the Rochor Beancurd stall, as you can see. It’s a popular place where many Singaporeans knew and will consider going for supper.
egg tart($1.30), butterfly cake($0.90), you tiao($0.90), grass jelly($1.00) & beancurd ($0.60 for dining in, $1.00 for takeaway).
The tau huay is really smooth and silky, simply melts inside the mouth instantly! I'll always ask for less or even without syrup while BF likes it with lots of syrup in it. HAHA. Overall, this tau huay is satisfying!
We even ordered the sides, like egg tart, butterfly cake and you tiao along with it. It is served hot and is crispy on the outside!Some of you would prefer dipping the you tiao into the soya bean drink.
This definitely a place to chill at. And a very affordable place for some desserts in the Rochor area.
